THE FINAL FRONTIER FROM A SPIRITUAL PERSPECTIVE!

September of 1966, There was a show that came on our television sets, it was called, “Star Trek”. It was a show about outer space travel and discoveries. It was a show that helped us to widen our understanding of our world as well as other worlds, our universe, and other universes, and even more importantly, to give us more understanding about ourselves and others. To me, Star Trek has always been amongst my top sci-fi shows when I was small. I and my brother enjoy all the old episodes of Star Trek with William Shatner (Captain James T. Kirk), Leonard Nimoy (Spock),
Michelle Nichols (Nyota Uhura), DeFOREST KELLEY (DR. LEONARD McCOY), JAMES DOOHAN (SCOTTY), GEORGE TAKEI (HIKARU SULU), WALTER KOENING (PAVEL CHEKON).

It’s the intro of the show that was so powerful to me, that is if you are looking at it from a spiritual perspective. The four words that you will hear along with the music(theme sound) is, “SPACE THE FINAL FRONTIER”. I realized that the beginning of our being birth into this world, starts our life’s journey, but most people believe that our journey ends at death, that includes being fully cut off from life itself forever, never having feelings, no pain or suffering, having no more emotions, in other words, all activities cease to exist period.

The Bible teaches us that death is not the end of life as we know it, the reason why I believe that, is that “DEATH” is not the “FINAL FRONTIER”, the final frontier is really “ETERNITY”. You see, in these human bodies of our we possess this thing call a spirit, a spirit can never die it lives on forever. When the Lord God was talking to Adam, that is after Adam sin by not obeying Him, he said to Adam, GENESIS 3:19; In the sweat of thy face shall thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou was taken: for dust thou art and dust shalt thou return. Also ECCLESIASTES 12:7; Then shall the dust(the human body) return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.

There is a “FINAL FRONTIER” that do exist, it is called “ETERNITY”, and the way that you can enter into a glorious heavenly frontier, is by asking Jesus Christ to come into your heart and life and be your Lord and Savior (that is the Final Frontier for a heavenly life), 1 JOHN 5:12-13; He that hath the Son (JESUS CHRIST) hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name (JESUS CHRIST) of the of Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. In ending I just like to say, we all have a “FINAL FRONTIER”, but only you can choose the path where your journey will lead you, your “FINAL FRONTIER” is your choice for you, as the choice I make is for me, Choose wisely, be blessed!
